We started VERA because we were tired of security questionnaires that took weeks and trust centers that didn't actually build trust.
Our Story
VERA was born out of frustration. As a technology company, we spent countless hours filling out security questionnaires — copying and pasting the same answers between spreadsheets, hunting down the latest version of our SOC 2 report, and managing document access requests via email.
We looked at the existing compliance tools and found they all had the same problem: they were built for the compliance team, not for the customers asking the questions. Trust centers were static document links. AI tools hallucinated answers. Knowledge was siloed instead of shared.
So we built VERA — a platform that makes compliance a competitive advantage. Our AI either cites your actual documents or escalates to a human. Your trust center hosts living, versioned compliance pages. And every interaction feeds a knowledge flywheel that makes the next questionnaire faster.
